Rebekah Anguiano, PharmD, BCPS, BCACP
Dr. Rebekah Anguiano, PharmD is the Clinical Coordinator for Specialty Pharmacy Services and the clinical pharmacist for the Pulmonary Hypertension Service with the Lung Health Program at the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System (UI Health). She is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Pharmacy. Her major responsibilities include oversight and management of specialty pharmacy services clinical operations and patient management program; clinic-based patient medication assessments, education, training, and ongoing management of pulmonary hypertension therapies; as well as teaching, research, publications, and other scholarship activities related to her specialty. Dr. Anguiano graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and then acquired her Doctor of Pharmacy at the UIC College of Pharmacy. She completed her residency training and practiced at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center as a clinical pharmacist until January 2009 at which time she took a position with a major specialty pharmacy as the clinical supervisor of the pulmonary arterial hypertension program. Dr. Anguiano is a member of several professional societies including American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP), American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), and Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA).
