PRESS PASSES

Asembia offers a limited number of press passes to qualified professional journalists as a service to the industry, to add value for exhibitors and sponsors, and to help promote the event. Press passes provide access to the general session, exhibit hall, receptions, and special functions.

POLICY

Press Credentials

A press pass is a complimentary admission to the convention that includes the right to attend the Summit (typically for a limited time). Press passes are given to working press staff (see eligibility information) to allow them to access and move around the event site.

Asembia reserves the right to grant press privileges to individuals on a case-by-case basis. Registered media are required to wear media badges at all times during the Summit.

Asembia gives priority to requests from journalists who:

  1. Work for mainstream and online media outlets capable of reaching large or influential audiences.
  2. Have a track record of insightful coverage in areas related to the specialty pharmaceutical industry.
  3. Have a specific commission for coverage of the Summit (and not just of speakers or others attending).

All members of the press are welcome to make use of content presented during the event, subject to any restrictions placed by the presenter. The only distinction of a press pass is the complimentary admission.

Press Pass Eligibility

Press passes are available solely for working press staff—defined as individuals employed by recognized media outlets such as industry media organizations, television and radio stations, newspapers, and other forms of news coverage, who are on assignment from those outlets and who would not otherwise be attending the Summit. Working press staff can include immediate supporting and technical staff such as producers, photographers, camera operators, and sound personnel.

Please be prepared to provide one of the following press credentials (in a .pdf, .png or .jpg file) where indicated on the Press Pass Request Form.

  • Media identification, such as an accredited press pass, issued by a recognized news organization.
  • Business card clearly stating affiliation with a news organization as specified and position, e.g., editor, publisher, writer, reporter, producer, etc.
  • Letter on official letterhead from the editor of a publication/website or producer of a broadcast program certifying the affiliation, verifying assignment to the meeting, and including the editor's contact information.
  • National Association of Writers membership card.

NOTE: Marketing/advertising, sales, art directors, managers, publishers, and other non-editorial professionals of media organizations are NOT eligible for Summit press passes and should proceed to the Attendee Registration page.

Press Pass Revocation

Individuals who attend the Asembia Specialty Pharmacy Summit with a press pass, but then attempt to market products or services to event attendees or exhibitors, will be asked to surrender their event badge and leave the event, and will be barred from attending future events as press. Press passes are granted by Asembia in its sole and absolute discretion and may be revoked at any time without notice.
